Fascinating decision from a U.S. Appeals court Tuesday regarding the size or feel of currency. That blind people are discriminated against by not being able to ascertain a particular bill by touch or size is a truly thought provoking idea, especially as nearly every other country in the world does so. I sense this decision will hold up down the road, as it speaks to fundamental fairness.

This thing is dragging on like an extended Britney Spears hunt. Really the most important question is whether all of this in-fighting is going to hand the election to the GOP on a silver platter.

Yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling on the death penalty is hardly encouraging for advocates of getting rid of the death penalty. Still, it is somewhat inconclusive as to the long term meaning, as it was a pretty narrow ruling.

Justice Scalia ripping on the media for skewed coverage is not surprising. Not that the media isn’t skewed — truthfully, they are not “skewed” enough in attacking Scalia and his brethren for their stone-age thinking. That he hasn’t been tarred and feathered in the press for being such a, for lack of a better legal term, “arrogant doofus,” is the real shame.
Oh, and by the way, arrogant doofus is not a legal term. If it was, many of Scalia’s legal decisions would be filed under that category.

If you really think a Clinton-Obama (or Obama-Clinton) “dream team” ticket is on the horizon, you really are dreaming. True, bad blood has been healed before, but these two just aren’t a match. It’s still going to be ugly in the next several weeks, but it sure looks like Mr. B. will prevail.

Just try to get a straight answer on what exactly a super delegate is or what exactly they do…………sure isn’t easy. This antiquated system only confuses the matter, but perhaps it will all be moot in the next few weeks.

Looks like Ms. Clinton is hearing the bell’s toll. Obama has the momentum, and seems closer to being a lock. Against the Senator from AZ., it should be quite a few months ahead.

That anyone could proclaim that water boarding isn’t torture — and that therefore it is acceptable to use — truly boggles the mind. The feeling of being drowned isn’t torture? Perhaps Scalia and his evil little elves know something we don’t. Maybe they like it when they are drowned against their will by a dominatrix in some wacko DC dungeon.

One down…….how many to go? Well, we are getting closer to the Final 2. The Senator from Arizona (who shall be nameless) is locking like a lock for the GOP, but the Dems are still in flux.

Hmm……..that does seem to be the zillion dollar question on everyone’s mind. Yesterday’s so-called Super Tuesday wasn’t all that Super for either candidate, but much will change in the next few months. Should be a dog fight ’til the end.
